the story of life

Well lets see, i know it's been a while..nothing really exciting happens with me these days and I hope your not excited about this either.

Well Candice and Abby are off to North Georgia to spend the summer with the grandparents, in which we will be spending more time with them this July. Yes, we will be taking the 10 hour adventure to Hiawassee on my birthday! Can I ask the ? Who want's to be in a car for 10 hours on their birthday. My birthday sucked last year and will suck again this year, just my luck. We plan to do some site seeing and camping and playing tourist like all do in Bayfield. Not too sure if I'm excited about the camping part, but I guess it's better than going to Washington DC to see all the dead Presidents headstones...yeah dont ask. Def not my idea of a kick ass time.

I've been looking into plane tickets to fly back home and to my suprise they are only $280.00 round trip! From Tampa to Duluth. That's a steal of a deal if you ask me! Just for a long weekend. I think I might need to take a trip to visit my Nicole :) Not sure how I would get around up there cause I'd have no means of transportation. Good thing everything is within walking distance. Except Nicole she's in Ashland now. I'd manage tho for sure! I think James will be ok with me going I just have to figure out when. I can't wait until 2010 to have Frankies pizza!

We had the BIG graduation party this past weekend. Party started at 6. Ate at 7. Karaoke at 9. James already had a good 3 drinks in by 9 o'clock and i had just started my first one about 8-ish. I figured it wouldn't take me much to get a good buzz going on. Well to my suprise I had 3 shots and 2 drinks and wasn't feeling a thing! What's up with that?! By this time everyone was in their prime and I was just sitting there, crabby as all could be and mad at the world. Fun huh? I went in and rocked Abby to sleep in the chair while everyone was out having a good time, singing, dancing and making fools of themselves. I wanted to be that person. I was looking forward to a good night out. I dissapointed myself. My husband was drunker than a skunk and I was falling asleep in the picknick table. Again, not my idea of a good time. So I spend most of my time with Abby inside as my dancing stage waited for me outside.

School. I'm going to call USF tomorrow to make an appointment with an advisor to see about getting to USF Tampa. If that happens I'd be changing my major to Mass Communications but at least I'd have something to look forward to, because this graphic design course was never meant to be I've decided. So I hope I can get in and things will work out better up there. It will still be hard to drive to Tampa and work full time too. I hope I can finally get somewhere with this. But then I think about all the money I wasted at MCC and all the time, arg makes me sick.

So, my husband has been working the graveyard shift now for toooooo long. Well tomorrow he goes for an interview for a different job! A day-time job! Woo-hoo! I really hope he gets it. It sure does suck when I only get to see him 1/2 of friday and 1/2 of saturday and a couple hours each night during the week....sometimes. I miss going and doing things with him and sleeping in our bed gets pretty lonley by myself.

So please cross your fingers for us that he gets this other job!

Oh and that it pays the same or more...hehe.

Just when you think it's going to be a great weekend......

I was FINALLY off this friday and so was James. He'd slept most of the morning and early afternoon which is fine because he worked all night. Our plans were to go to Carabbas and eat dinner then go check out the store closing sale at Cuircit City to see about getting me a new computer then we were going to go to cold stone for some excellent icecream. I was looking forward to the icecream the most!

Well that all changed when Jon finally decided again that he wanted to go to Joyland which is what was origionally planned in the beginning, like days ago. Ok we thought, so we ate dinner and went back home to wait on him to come home and get ready. Well 2 hours later he still wasn't home. By this time I had fallen asleep and James had come to bed too and it was only 8 o'clock! So sad. Jon finally comes rolling in the door at 8:20-ish. I guess he realized that we weren't going anymore. James was passed out for the rest of the night and I was just bored the rest of the night.

2 am: Jon helps himself to my leftovers in the fridge!

Saturday I had to work 9-5, which I ALWAYS have to. So I thought after work we could go to my moms and have dinner and visit with them for a little while. I pull in the driveway to find a friend of James' parked in the driveway. Which is fine, but I didn't expect him to stay ALL NIGHT! He even ate dinner and everything. So by 9 o'clock when he finally left I was in bed.

So the 2 days I was looking forward to spending with my husband didn't quite turn out the way I had wanted it to.

Now I sit here on a Sunday afternoon while James sleeps all day and I have no one thing I want to do.

I could go get my hair cut

I could go grocery shopping

I could go exchange a shirt

I could go take some pictures

I could go to my parents

I could bake

I could...I could....I could...

I wish I could hang out with Nicole and bake that key lime pie and be tourists in Bayfield. :(
