Although I LOVE my friend Nicole to death, I feel the need to have more Blogger friends...I sometimes feel like I'm blogging to nobody when I pretty much tell Nicole everything I blog before I blog it anyway.. So anyone wanna be friends and post comments on my crap?

Coming to an end...

I am very sad to say that two of my most favorite shows are coming to an end. Oprah and Jon & Kate +8. I have been watching Oprah ever since I can remember and she is one of my favorite talk show hosts (next to Ellen). Jon and Kate's kids have been a joy to watch grow up with for the past 5 years. It's too bad that their life had to end up like this, but those kids will grow stronger each day. Good luck to them!

Shannon Kathleen Andrews I'm going to miss this girl like crazy! Shannon is off to Colorado for four of the funnest, craziest years of her life! Shannon is a very strong, kind, warmhearted, smart, funny, beautiful, outgoing, successful, talented, loving, zestful, full of life kind of girl. She's always there for me anytime I need her, day or night, she lightens up the room when she walks in with her glowing beautiful smile. She is really a true friend and I'm greatful to have gotten to know her. I will never forget this girl not for one day of my life and I know she wont forget me. We've had some great times at BBB and I will cherish those moments...some good some bad. I wish Shannon the very best of luck in the scary world ahead of her! She must text me everyday so it's just like old times :)

Thank you for everything Shannon, you have made me a better person.

looking to the future...again

Well I'm at it again...yup, back to school. One would think that as I keep taking class after never ending class i would be getting closer to reaching my goal...not the case for me. This whole idea of going back to school hasn't been easy for me. Classes are fairly easy, but actually finding classes that are available and that don't get dropped is the hard part. Yes, it is messed up. It's been one whole year since I've stepped foot on a college campus. But as the fall semester approaches I've had some things to figure out...so that took me to University of South Florida in Sarasota to talk to an advisor there...helped a little but still not as clear as black and white. Later that visit led me to State College of Florida (formally MCC) to speak to an advisor there...who pretty much told me he couldn't help me since I'd eventually would want to transfer to USF that I'd then have to speak to a USF advisor so I did and intern she told me since I'd be going to Tampa or St. Pete I'd have to talk to an advisor up there about their campus. I was about ready to shoot someone but instead I left crying. How can I help myself when these so called advisors can't even help me??? This has been an ongoing disaster of a mess since day one pretty much...which was 5 years ago. So much for advisors anyway. So once again I've had to figure this out on my own and hopefully wont end up in the same situation as I did the last 2 semesters. I just need to work hard to get out of MCC and on to USF. I know I can do it it's just going to take a lot more time and a lot more money....and more years at Bed Bath and Beyond. But I will....I will make it and when I do....I will look back on the long winding road and think that every part of this was worth it.

the story of life

Well lets see, i know it's been a while..nothing really exciting happens with me these days and I hope your not excited about this either.

Well Candice and Abby are off to North Georgia to spend the summer with the grandparents, in which we will be spending more time with them this July. Yes, we will be taking the 10 hour adventure to Hiawassee on my birthday! Can I ask the ? Who want's to be in a car for 10 hours on their birthday. My birthday sucked last year and will suck again this year, just my luck. We plan to do some site seeing and camping and playing tourist like all do in Bayfield. Not too sure if I'm excited about the camping part, but I guess it's better than going to Washington DC to see all the dead Presidents headstones...yeah dont ask. Def not my idea of a kick ass time.

I've been looking into plane tickets to fly back home and to my suprise they are only $280.00 round trip! From Tampa to Duluth. That's a steal of a deal if you ask me! Just for a long weekend. I think I might need to take a trip to visit my Nicole :) Not sure how I would get around up there cause I'd have no means of transportation. Good thing everything is within walking distance. Except Nicole she's in Ashland now. I'd manage tho for sure! I think James will be ok with me going I just have to figure out when. I can't wait until 2010 to have Frankies pizza!

We had the BIG graduation party this past weekend. Party started at 6. Ate at 7. Karaoke at 9. James already had a good 3 drinks in by 9 o'clock and i had just started my first one about 8-ish. I figured it wouldn't take me much to get a good buzz going on. Well to my suprise I had 3 shots and 2 drinks and wasn't feeling a thing! What's up with that?! By this time everyone was in their prime and I was just sitting there, crabby as all could be and mad at the world. Fun huh? I went in and rocked Abby to sleep in the chair while everyone was out having a good time, singing, dancing and making fools of themselves. I wanted to be that person. I was looking forward to a good night out. I dissapointed myself. My husband was drunker than a skunk and I was falling asleep in the picknick table. Again, not my idea of a good time. So I spend most of my time with Abby inside as my dancing stage waited for me outside.

School. I'm going to call USF tomorrow to make an appointment with an advisor to see about getting to USF Tampa. If that happens I'd be changing my major to Mass Communications but at least I'd have something to look forward to, because this graphic design course was never meant to be I've decided. So I hope I can get in and things will work out better up there. It will still be hard to drive to Tampa and work full time too. I hope I can finally get somewhere with this. But then I think about all the money I wasted at MCC and all the time, arg makes me sick.

So, my husband has been working the graveyard shift now for toooooo long. Well tomorrow he goes for an interview for a different job! A day-time job! Woo-hoo! I really hope he gets it. It sure does suck when I only get to see him 1/2 of friday and 1/2 of saturday and a couple hours each night during the week....sometimes. I miss going and doing things with him and sleeping in our bed gets pretty lonley by myself.

So please cross your fingers for us that he gets this other job!

Oh and that it pays the same or more...hehe.

Just when you think it's going to be a great weekend......

I was FINALLY off this friday and so was James. He'd slept most of the morning and early afternoon which is fine because he worked all night. Our plans were to go to Carabbas and eat dinner then go check out the store closing sale at Cuircit City to see about getting me a new computer then we were going to go to cold stone for some excellent icecream. I was looking forward to the icecream the most!

Well that all changed when Jon finally decided again that he wanted to go to Joyland which is what was origionally planned in the beginning, like days ago. Ok we thought, so we ate dinner and went back home to wait on him to come home and get ready. Well 2 hours later he still wasn't home. By this time I had fallen asleep and James had come to bed too and it was only 8 o'clock! So sad. Jon finally comes rolling in the door at 8:20-ish. I guess he realized that we weren't going anymore. James was passed out for the rest of the night and I was just bored the rest of the night.

Saturday I had to work 9-5, which I ALWAYS have to. So I thought after work we could go to my moms and have dinner and visit with them for a little while. I pull in the driveway to find a friend of James' parked in the driveway. Which is fine, but I didn't expect him to stay ALL NIGHT! He even ate dinner and everything. So by 9 o'clock when he finally left I was in bed.

So the 2 days I was looking forward to spending with my husband didn't quite turn out the way I had wanted it to.

Now I sit here on a Sunday afternoon while James sleeps all day and I have no one thing I want to do.

I could go get my hair cut

I could go grocery shopping

I could go exchange a shirt

I could go take some pictures

I could go to my parents

I could bake

I could...I could....I could...

I wish I could hang out with Nicole and bake that key lime pie and be tourists in Bayfield. :(

Finally!

So tomorrow at 9:30 ish I will be getting my head scanned. I am having an MRI done on my brain to figure out what the heck is going on up there. I get these aweful migraines that hurt soooo bad. I hope someday someone will be able to tell me what's going on.... Maybe the MRI will even make me smarter...hehe. I have went to the doctor who put me on prozac, yeah I didn't take that long. Then I went to another doctor who said that doctor was crazy for putting my on that type of medication. I thought so too at first, but afterall they are the doctors. I went to have blood work done and everything seems fine there. So I really have no idea what is going on, but I want to figure it out sooo bad so I can stop them.

I'll let you know how everything pans out.

Ha. So for all of you country music fans out there this is the place to be! Full bar, full dance floor, friends, what more could you ask for!? Thankfully it is close to home and James is the DD so I can get as wasted as I want. I've learned my lesson from previous weekends to eat lots and lots before going out, I never want to feel like that EVER again. It was my own stupid fault, but it was fun up until then. Joyland has had some of the rookie music stars who have made it BIG in Nashville. It's a great place to go and have a good time. Too bad I dont have any picture to show. My camera of course was low on batteries. Shoot! I guess I have to go back to make sure I get some taken. :)

So this was one of the BEST times I've ever had. The cowboy hoedown is held ONLY once a year (I wish it was once a month!). It is sponsored by the 4H club. They provide a band to play for the night, no cover charge and you b.y.o.b and food and drink, dance and have a great time! I didn't want to go at first. Had been working all day and it was super busy so I was super tired, but my husband drug me there and I'm glad he did because I've never had sooo much fun. Daning all night on the table and the cooler. Its too bad tho that I didn't find my boss there until when we were walking out the door. We've hung out before and she's a blast.

Oh, and I'm finally able to upload pics so my blogs 'should' be more interesting. :)
